Two children critically injured after suspected crude bomb exploded in Tripura

In a tragic incident reported from the Badharghat area of Agartala, two children were critically injured after a suspected crude bomb, which the children mistook for a ball and were playing with, exploded.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near the Dasarath Deb Stadium.
The injured children, identified as Abhijit Shil and Deep Das, were both students of Kabirajtilla Higher Secondary School studying in classes eight and six.
The children were rushed to the trauma center in Agartala government medical college and GB hospital.
The child identified as Abhijit sustained serious injuries to his hand, while Deep suffered wounds to his hand and face. Both of their conditions are said to be critical.
Police officials quickly arrived at the hospital to investigate the incident. It is unclear at this time who is responsible for planting the explosive device there.
