Tahira Ahmed, hailing from Kailashahar, has not only brought glory to India but also made the people of the state proud with her performance at the 2nd Asian Yogasana Sports Championship held in Thailand.
Ahmed’s skill propelled her to secure an impressive tally of four silver medals and one bronze medal, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the field of yoga asana.
Recognizing her extraordinary achievement, the former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb extended his heartfelt congratulations to Tahira Ahmed.
Taking to Twitter, Biplab Kumar Deb wrote, “The success of Tahira Ahmed resident of Kailashahar brought glory to the country and the people of Tripura by winning 4 silver and 1 bronze medal representing India at the 2nd Asian Yogasana Sports Championship held in Thailand. It was very nice to know about her dedication and determination in the meeting. I wish her more success and a bright future.”
