Tripura's Aritra Roy Begins Ambitious Mount Everest Expedition with 1,400 km Cycling Journey to Nepal

In a historic first for Tripura, certified mountaineer Aritra Roy has set off on his ambitious journey to conquer Mount Everest. Earlier in today, Roy was flagged off by Colonel Sahil Sharma, Commandant of the 35 Battalion of Assam Rifles, as he began cycling from Agartala to Phaplu, Nepal, covering 1,400 km. His journey, aimed at promoting a cleaner and greener environment, will take approximately 15 days, after which his 45-day Everest expedition will commence.
