Tripura has turned out to be a hotbed of narcotics smuggling with more than 55 thousand kilograms of marijuana seized so far from various parts of the state since the formation of the BJP-IPFT government.

Tripura DGP AK Shukla said that more than 300 people have been apprehended with cases being filed against them.

The DGP further maintained that anyone found involved in such acts will not be spared at any cost.
