Opposition CPI(M)’s mouthpiece in Tripura, ‘Daily Desher Katha’, resumed publication on Thursday after a gap of 10 days following an order passed by the Tripura High Court on Wednesday.
The publication of the newspaper had stopped since October 1 following an order of the District Magistrate of West Tripura district.
A preliminary probe conducted by the District Magistrate into a complaint allegedly for violating the Press and Registration of Books Act, had reportedly found “substance” in the complaint and a hearing process was initiated following which the publication was stopped.
