Tripura: CPI-M urges like-minded political parties to form alliance against BJP

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar also urged the people to join the movement.
The Tripura CPI-M has urged all-like-minded political parties to form an alliance in a bid to challenge the ruling BJP government.
Speaking to the media, CPIM general secretary Sitaram Yechury said it was about time to challenge the ideology of the BJP and defend the core values of the constitution, democracy, secularism, and human rights.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar also urged the people to join the movement.
