Tripura CM Manik Saha shows humanity, halts convoy, takes injured woman to hospital

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has set an example of humanity.

It was on Thursday morning when he was enroute to South Tripura for attending a party programme. But unfortunately, when his convoy reached Bishalgarh, an elderly woman was hit by one of the vehicles in the cavalcade.

Wasting no time, Chief Minister Manik Saha came to know this, he immediately asked his convoy to stop and took the injured woman Biswalakshmi Debbarma to Bishramganj Community Health Centre.

The Chief Minister interacted with the injured woman and asked the attending doctor to take the necessary steps.

The Chief Minister also extended financial assistance for the treatment of the injured woman. Meanwhile, the injured victim is stated to be in a stable condition.
