Tripura CM Manik Saha inaugurates conference on Chakma Language, Scripts & Culture

Tripura: Main aim of the conference is to discuss and form consensus on uniform Chakma customary law, scripts.
Tripura CM Manik Saha today inaugurated the 3-day International Conference on Chakma Language, Scripts & Culture in Agartala today.
Social welfare and education minister Santana Chakma, Mizoram MLA Buddha Dhan Chakma besides other representatives of the Chakma community were present on the occasion along with Tripura CM Manik Saha. Chakma community representatives from different parts of Northeast as well as Bangladesh are taking part in the event.
Besides, Chakma diasporas from countries including USA, UK, Australia and other nations are also virtually taking part in the event.
The main aim of the conference is to discuss and form consensus on uniform Chakma customary law, scripts.
The conference is being organized by the International Chakma Sahitya & Sudom Jodha (ICSSJ) along with DHUDUK (Cultural Organization).
