Tripura CM conducts surprise visits to govt offices

Checking on the ground activities of various state departments, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has launched an initiative to conduct surprise visits to Government offices and inspect the staff presence, functioning besides public dealing.

The Chief Minister conducted a surprise visit today at the office of the Director of Health Services in Gorkhabasti, Agartala.

The CM inspected office rooms and interacted with staff regarding their functioning besides holding a short meeting with senior officials and the director.

Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Manik Saha informed, that he has urged the staff to be punctual and reminded them he will visit again.

Saha also expressed his concern regarding the pathetic condition of some of the wards at the GB Pant hospital he said he will take appropriate steps towards resolving the issues in the future.

The CM further added such surprise visits will continue and the sole purpose is to encourage government employees to carry out their responsibilities appropriately.

Along with the Chief Minister other cabinet ministers are conducting such surprise visits as well.
