Tragic: Worker Falls From 16-Storey Under-construction Building in Guwahati, Dies

A tragic incident took place in Guwahati on Friday when a construction worker fell to his death from the 16th floor of an under-construction building.
The incident took place at the Ashi Marq housing society, located in the Adabari locality.
The deceased, identified as Sadiq Akhtar from Malda, hailing from West Bengal, was reportedly working on the water tank on the rooftop when the accident took place.
Jalukbari police reached the scene soon after being informed and recovered the body. It has been sent for post-mortem with the police looking into the circumstances leading to his death.
