Traditional Manipuri Style Showcased at East India Fashion Week 2025

The 6th edition of East India Fashion Week was held on May 3, 2025, at Hotel Vivanta in Guwahati. The event brought together designers, models, and fashion lovers from different parts of the region.
A proud moment for Manipur, renowned designer Arbin Tonjam opened the fashion show with his beautiful collection. His designs featured traditional Manipuri clothing with a modern touch, which impressed everyone present.
The showstopper for his collection was Martin Irengbam from Manipur, who recently became the 1st runner-up at the Mr. Top Model of Universe contest. Martin walked the ramp in stunning Manipuri attire and grabbed everyone’s attention. His appearance helped highlight the beauty of Manipur’s fashion and culture on a big platform.
The event was officially opened by Mrs. Universe Fabulous winner Amrita Dutta, who is also a social activist and a growing entrepreneur. Her presence added energy and inspiration to the show.
