In a shocking incident, three children have been rescued from the roads of Golaghat town in Assam.

The three children had been abandoned by their parents. The children are eight year old Gitashree Das, five year old Bishal Das and two year old Gitamoni Das.

Local people took initiative to rescue the children before they could fall into wrong hands.

Police have taken the three children into their custody and are currently on lookout for the parents. People are demanding for strict punishments against the parents.

Police has appealed to the people to give any information about the whereabouts of the parents.
