Third Round of Tipra Accord Implementation Talks on Jan 17: Pradyot Debbarma

Pradyot assured that he will continue to fight for the constitutional, land, economic and political rights of the indigenous Tiprasas.

TIPRA motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma has said that the third round of talks for discussing demands and negotiations under the Tipra Accord and proper implementation of the Accord signed in March this year will be held on January 17 next year, followed by couple of more rounds of talks.

Pradyot Debbarma expects that the series of talks surrounding the implementation of the Tiprasa Accord in letter and spirit will finally conclude by February or March, 2025.

Pradyot, in a social media video post assured that he will continue to fight for the constitutional, land, economic and political rights of the indigenous Tiprasas.

Earlier on December 21, Pradyot Debbarma had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Agartala and discussed issues related to the indigenous people of the state.
