Former BTC Deputy Chief of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF)) candidate for the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat, Kampa Borgoyary exuded confidence of a massive win in Kokrajhar.

While commenting on the claims by the UPPL candidate of a massive win, Kampa Borgoyary said. “ This is their claim. They are thinking it would be like 2020, where they used the administration, the money power. This time also they have experienced that people are not voting for them and that is why they have resorted to the last option of using money power.”
“I am very confident. Today irrespective of religion, caste, creed and area, all people have come forward to cast vote in favour of BPF. That is why I am very confident. “
Apart of these Borgoyary also emphasised upon the participation of the youngsters- university students, college students , first timers in the election process. He claimed that the first time voters are in favour of BPF.
The Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat has always been an interesting seat in the elections. While asking about the previous independent candidates winning in Kokrajhar due split of the Boro and the Non-Boro votes, Kampa Borgoyary answered , “There was no local political party earlier, that is why our candidates were always independent candidates. And whoever the people had chosen were the representative. “
“It doesn’t mean that independent candidates win, it is always the situation and the issues that depends for whom to vote” Borgoyary added.
Kampa Borgoyary also said that at present people are expecting the BPF party as BPF is thoughtful for the national issues of the community and the common issues of the area for development and unification.
