Tension still prevails at Chaygaon in South kamrup of Assam following a clash between two groups including members of the BJP and the AGP. The clash broke out following dispute

Tension still prevails at Chaygaon in South kamrup of Assam following a clash between two groups including members of the BJP and the AGP.

The clash broke out following dispute over encroaching upon land allotted for setting up a market place under a state government scheme.

At least 17 persons including women were injured in the clash. Meanwhile, 4 of those injured are stated to be in a critical condition and have been rushed to the Gauhati Medical college and hospital for better treatment.
