Nagaland BJP Chief and social media sensation Temjen Imna Along has done it again. The Nagaland minister, who has already amassed a huge following on social media, took to twitter today to share an interesting anecdote from his childhood.
Temjen Imna Along shared that his teachers were like gurus to him and his friends were like family.
However, one day, one of his favourite teachers punished him for improper conduct and restricted him from the class.
Temjen wrote that although he felt ashamed in front of his friends, the education system taught him the importance of accepting (our) wrongs and learning from own mistakes.
Meanwhile, in what can only be assumed to be a veiled dig at Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, the Nagaland minister concluded the tweet with a post script which reads: “PS: Ye kahani kisi Convicted MP ke bare mein nahi hai. Baki aap sab samajhdar hain.”
“A Story of my childhood. It is a story of my school, you know we basically remember our childhood because of its beauty of innocence. At that time friends are basically our family and teachers are gurus to us. We obeyed the rules that they set for us. One day one of my favourite teacher punished me for improper conduct & restricted from the class. Guilty of disobedience I felt so ashamed in front of my friends. But never challenge him for that conduct to turn it as a case of defamation. Our education system taught us that we should accept our wrong and learn from it a better lesson. PS : Ye kahani kisi Convicted MP ke bare me nahi hai. Baki ap sab samjhdar hain,” his tweet read.
Needless to say, the tweet has already garnered a lot of attention on social media with netizens once again lauding the BJP leader for his witty sense of humour.
It may be mentioned here that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was recently disqualified as an MP after his conviction by a Surat Court in a defamation case over his 2019 Modi surname remark.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi has been granted bail in the case and his next hearing seeking suspension of conviction will be heard on April 13.
