In a proud moment for the state of Arunachal Pradesh, the President of India Ram Nath Kovind today presented the Nari Shakti Puraskar to Tage Rita Takhe for her excellence in promoting women entrepreneurship and local products internationally.
President of India Ram Nath Kovind today conferred the Nari Shakti Puraskars for 2020 and 2021 to 29 outstanding individuals on the eve of International Women’s Day for their exceptional work towards women empowerment, especially the vulnerable and marginalised.
The Nari Shakti Puraskar is an initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development to acknowledge the exceptional contribution made by individuals and institutions and to celebrate women as game-changers and catalysts of positive change in society.
Arunachal’s Tage Rita Takhe who was awarded today hails from Ziro of Lower Subansiri District and owns Naara Aaba, which is India’s first organic kiwi wine.
