Three persons including a fourteen-year-old girl were charred to death after a major fire broke out in a farmhouse near the Suangpuilawn village of Mizoram on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as the Vanlalmawia, the caretaker of the farm, his 14-year-old daughter Zorinmawii, and the farm’s owner Lalmuankima.

A vehicle parked near the farmhouse was also heavily damaged in the blazing inferno.

As per reports, the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.

According to police, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and an investigation is underway.
