The Sikkim Progressive Youth Forum (SPYF) staged a sit-in-protest in front of the Health Minister’s office in Gangtok against the pathetic health infrastructure at Geyzing district hospital.

The members of the SPYF organised a protest yesterday evening.The students’ body said that unless they get a written assurance from Health Minister they would not call off their protest.

The youth body had earlier taken out a massive protest rally voicing concern over the poor health scenario in Geyzing district of West Sikkim.

Members of the forum are now demanding written assurances from the State Health Minister regarding fulfillment of the demands.
