Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) President PS Tamang has been released from the Rongay State Jail today.
The SKM supremo popularly known as PS Golay was convicted on charges of misappropriating cattle distribution, government funds of around 10 lakh rupees during his tenure as a minister for Animal Husbandry between 1999 to 2004.
Following his release today, supporters gathered outside the Rongay state jail to welcome their leader.
Tamang release is being seen as a big boost to the SKM ahead of the 2019 polls.
