SKM protests ‘a joke staged by jokers’: Sikkim ex CM Pawan Chamling

In a press release, Chamling stated that SDF youths have been assaulted and the state police force has been misused to silence valiant voices.

Former Chief Minister and SDF party President, Pawan Chamling termed the ruling SKM’s Prativad Julus, or protest against SDF “a joke staged by jokers”.

In a press release, Chamling stated that SDF youths have been assaulted and the state police force has been misused to silence valiant voices.

Chamling added Golay’s ‘TEAM’ is made up of goons who spread violence on the streets and shameless liars who spread hate and confusion on social media.

The former Chief Minister added that Sikkim has been watching the show in shock, disbelief, and disappointment.

He added the peace rally was the biggest joke, as it was led by jokers making fun of themselves, even the name ‘Shanti Prativad Julus’ means a rally in protest against peace Chamling added.

The SDF party president also lashed out at the Chief Minister and said if the government realizes that there is no peace then Prem Singh Tamang needs to take the initiative to restore it.

He said Chief Minister PS Tamang could ask his party workers to maintain peace, not attack the opposition party, and should lead by example.

Finally, Chamling added the government’s responsibility is to ‘listen to prativad’ not ‘stage a prativad’.
