“The party has enough evidences to prove it and in coming days we will reveal in a big way”, he stated.
The ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has levelled a sensational allegation against the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF).
Escalating its attack on the opposition party, SKM press secretary, Bikash Basnett has accused the SDF of character assassination of women and distributing fake pamphlets.
Speaking to Northeast Live Basnett said, “SDF party is doing this inhumane act since 1994, assassinating character of woman and distributing fake pamphlets to youths.”
“Currently, we have found fake pamphlets in the Yangang constituency. We reported the incident to the Sikkim police, and the Sikkim special branch is looking into it”, he added.
“This fake pamphlet is going to affect your society in negative way and SKM vehemently condemn it. Not a single bogus pamphlet has been disseminated by our government in the last five years, but SDF has begun to activate it” he claimed.
“The party has enough evidences to prove it and in coming days we will reveal in a big way”, he stated.
Earlier also SKM spokesperson Jacob Khaling alleged that the SDF is working in connivance with forces outside the state with the intention to malign the stature of SKM women leaders.
Jacob Khaling stated that this was not a mere allegation, but facts and that the party has enough evidences to prove it.
Khaling said, “This is not an allegation, but we are saying this on the basis of whatever evidences we have with us till date. Nowadays, a lot of explicit posts can be seen in the social media against the state government as well as other individuals who are associated with governance and that includes women leaders of our party who are victims of character assassination. Explicit photos are being circulated with the intention of character assassination, it is happening under the patronage of the SDF from outside the state. We have evidences with us in the digital form as well as hard copies. When the time comes we will expose it before the people and the press as well.”
