Six more cases of COVID-19 have been reported from the Tezpur quarantine centre in Assam on Friday.

All positive patients belong to Sonitpur district. With these, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has risen to 222.

“Six persons from Tezpur quarantine centre are found #COVID19 +. All of them belong to Sonitpur district,” tweeted Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
