Ugen Gurung won gold in the first senior under 30 Male individual poomsae competition, defeating South Korea in the finals
Taekwondo player from Sikkim, Ugen Gurung has won gold medal at the 16th World Taekwondo Culture Expo 2023 held in South Korea from August 17 to 22.
Ugen Gurung won gold in the first senior under 30 Male individual poomsae competition, defeating South Korea in the finals.
Ugen expressed his joy and pride on representing India in this event and winning a gold medal for the country.
He thanked his trainer Master Trilok and said that it would not have been possible for him to win in such a stage with Master Trilok’s guidance.
He also thanked his friends, family members and well wishers for their constant support and love.
