In an effort to rope in more investors to Sikkim, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Friday chaired a meeting with a delegation of potential business investors at Mintokgang.
During the meet, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Commerce and Industries department and the National Institute of MSME, Hyderabad for the development of clusters, the Entrepreneurship Development Programme, and the promotion of macro and micro industries.

A delegation of 24 potential business investors from different parts of the country and abroad were present on the occasion and submitted investment proposals to set up industries in sectors like real estate, amusement parks, residential schools, and coffee plantations with a possible investment of Rs 1000 crore.
The Chief Minister welcomed the proposals, which will benefit the local people, and stated that the government will extend every possible assistance to their initiatives.
