With COVID curbs being lifted, tourists are once again beginning to pour into the Himalayan state of Sikkim.
Every year, the tourism season in Sikkim starts in March, but this time, the bookings started much earlier.
With the lifting of curbs by the Sikkim government on the 11th of February, the booking of tourists to visit the state is catching pace.

It was till February 10th that all travellers to Sikkim had to produce a negative RT-PCR report.
Speaking to our correspondent, a stakeholder engaged in the tourism industry, while expressing his hardships posed as a result of the pandemic, welcomed this latest move. Through Northeast Live, he welcomed tourists to the state.
Meanwhile, tourists have also welcomed the decision of the Sikkim government and shared some of their travel plans.
