With just a few days left for the simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the Northeastern state of Sikkim, the incidents of pre-poll violence have been escalating from the different parts of the state.
In a fresh such incident of poll related violence, miscreants vandalized a vehicle registered to Sikkim Democratic Front’s (SDF) Syari Constituency candidate Tenzing Norbu Lamtha last evening and injured a party worker.
As per sources the vehicle was being used by SDF party workers in Syari and was allegedly vandalized by miscreants associated with the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM).
