The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, the main opposition party in Sikkim organised a rally under the theme March for Justice in Gangtok today.
A large number of party workers took part in the rally. The mega rally was organized to protest against reappointment and extension in government jobs. The SKM also demanded employment for local youths in private companies in the state.
The SKM claimed that the state government has over the years made several re-appointments in the public sector even as private companies hired few locals.
