At least two people were killed and nine others injured after a milk tanker went out of control and rammed inside a public ground where a Mela was going on.
The incident was reported at around 8 pm today from Gangtok’s Ranipool.
The injured were immediately rushed to the Manipal Hospital for medical treatment.
The reason behind the accident is yet to be determined.
An investigation into the case is underway.
