Residents of Shillong rallied for peace and normalcy on Monday.
Hundreds took part in the rally organised by a local youth body that culminated with a prayer meet at Malki ground in Shillong.
Taking part in the rally, hundreds marched through the main thoroughfare of the city with placards calling for peace.
Shillong had witnessed violent protests recently following a flare up in a city locality.
