Senior Meghalaya Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former minister AL Hek has accused the Conrad Sangma-led state government of fooling people on the issue of the Shillong Medical College.
Reacting on the State government’s move to scrap the Shillong Medical College project, Hek said the government is doing just what was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on fooling people.
Reminding that Tynsong had earlier in a public meeting claimed that politicians fool people once every five years, Hek added probably the government is trying to do just that.
