Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua crowned Miss Universe 2023

Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua was crowned Miss Universe 2023.
She won the prestigious title of 72nd Miss Universe pageant in a grand event that was held at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador today.

She was crowned by Miss Universe 2022 – USA’s R’Bonney Gabriel.

Notably, Sheynnis Palacios is the first Nicaraguan woman to win Miss Universe. She sparkled in an ornate gown for the competition.

While Sheynnis Palacios was selected as the winner of Miss Universe 2023, Anntonia Porsild from Thailand has been announced as the 1st runner-up and the 2nd runner-up is Moraya Wilson from Australia.

Shweta Sharda from Chandigarh, who represented India made it to the top 20 finalists.

This year, Pakistan also debuted at the Miss Universe for the first time.
