In a sensational case of hit-and-run in Guwahati, a speeding car drove into a group of people who were on their way to idol immersion of Lord Ganesha at Kasomari ghat on Tuesday night.
The car – reported as a Swift Dzire, soon after the incident fled from the spot in no time.
As per reports, a minor along with several others have been critically injured in the mishap and have been later rushed to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
