The demand for a separate state of Garoland is growing louder. A huge rally was taken out yesterday in Tura in support of a separate state of Garoland

The National Federation for New State, which gave the demand for a separate Garoland its full support, made the rally noteworthy.

At a conference later in the day in Tura, it was resolved that the NFNS would take the case for a distinct Garoland to New Delhi’s political elite.

The NFNS intends to stage a two-day sit-in protest in New Delhi, which will also take place during the winter session of the parliament.

Speaking to the media, NFNS president Munish Tamang said that the group would relocate to New Delhi and hold the two-day protest at the same time as the winter session of parliament.
