The Gauhati High Court has rejected the findings of the N Saikia Committee in the infamous secret killings case that rocked Assam during Prafulla Kumar Mahanta’s reign as the Chief Minister.
The Gauhati High Court bench headed by Justice Ujjwal Bhuyan has termed the entire committee as unconstitutional, while delivering judgement into the PIL filed by Former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta in the case.
