Just days after footballer turned politician and senior vice president of the Hamro Sikkim Party, Bhaichung Bhutia levelled corruption charges against Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling, ruling Sikkim Democratic Front refuted all the corruption charges against the party.
Condemning Bhutia’s statement, SDF Spokesperson KT Gyaltsen said that before levelling such an allegation, one should have proper proof.
The SDF Spokesperson further said that in the past 25 years, there has not been a single case of corruption against the party.
Earlier, Bhaichung Bhutia had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to snap ties with SDF terming it corrupt.
