A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Monday regarding Manipur violence. During the hearing, the Manipur government told the Supreme Court that since May 3rd, an assistance amount of Rs 5 crore has been given to help victims of rape and other criminal incidents. The state government also informed that this amount has been transferred to a dedicated bank account from where help was provided to the victims.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura.
