The Assamese community in Seattle celebrated Rongali Bihu. People from Assam, settled in Washington and Oregon also took part in the celebrations.
The celebrations were especially organized to make the younger generation aware of their roots and traditions. A fashion show was also organized during the occasion.
Bihu was also celebrated with much fanfare at Cerebrook Community centre in Sydney of Australia by the Assamese community.
