Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is back on the field. He was seen batting for the first time after surviving a near fatal car accident on December 30, 2022.

The wicketkeeper-batter stepped on to the ground and batted in Bengaluru on August 15 for the first time in more than 8 months during a recreational event.

His batting video, in which he can be seen hitting maximums went viral on social media.

He has been out of professional cricket after he met with the unfortunate car accident. He had undergone many surgeries to recover from the injuries he received in the horrific accident. On December 30, 2022, Rishabh Pant had a narrow escape after his car crashed into a divider near Roorkee in Uttarakhand.

Pant received medical treatment and then began rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore after a couple of months. Pant sustained major injuries, including a right knee injury that required ligament surgery.
