In a bid to boost tourism in the Northeast, a retired doctor from Assam based in Denmark, Dr Khafiluzzaman Ahmed has come up with a one of its kind venture.

His startup – Zeito aims to give the best of Northeast to the European travelers. Zeito which stands for Zamans East India Travel Odyssey, provides destination holiday packages to Europeans travelling exclusively to Northeast India.
It was launched in Copenhagen on September 21 in the presence of Counsellor and Commercial Representative of the Mission, Embassy of India in Denmark, John H Ruolngul.
The meeting was also addressed by Dr Steen Friberg Nielsen, a former senior health official of the Health Ministry, who highly recommended the unexplored “de-stressing” locations in the northeast for Danish tourists.
Calling Northeast India an ‘Unexplored Paradise’ Dr K Ahmed, urged all to pay the region a visit. Also present at the function were many from Danish travel industry and other stakeholders.
