It has been 19 days since the disaster but there has been no trace of the 15 trapped miners so far.
The Indian Navy urged the District Administration to assist in the dewatering process so that the water comes down to 30 meters or within the safe diving limit, which will ease the process for the divers.
Meanwhile, the NDRF, stationed at the site with two teams is providing all support and assistance to other agencies including Indian Navy with all logistics and human resource.
Scientists of Coal India Limited are also conducting survey to ascertain the depths of the mine.
The Odisha fire service team meanwhile is pumping out water from an adjacent mine in a bid to look for another option to drain out the water.
