Rape horror continues in Assam

In the never-ending instances of rape incidents in Assam, a five-year-old was raped at Tiphuk tea estate at Amguri under Haluwating police station in upper Assam’s Sivasagar district on Monday.

The accused is a 23-year old Rahul Bhumij who happens to be the victim’s uncle. Police has arrested the accused who was absconding after committing the crime.

In another incident, Boko police arrested one Gobinda Rabha on charges of raping a 13-year-old deaf and dumb girl at Shakahiti under Boko police station. The incident happened on April 4.
