Rani Mukherjee celebrates her 45th birthday in Assam, visits Kamakhya Temple, seeks blessings of Maa Kamakhya

Rani's visit to Assam comes days after the release of her film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway
Bollywood actor Rani Mukherjee celebrated her 45th birthday in Assam by visiting Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati this afternoon and seeking blessings of Maa Kamakhya.
The ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hain’ actor along with her family landed at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and headed towards the temple situated atop Nilachal Hills.
She offered prayers to Maa Kamakhya and then flew back to Mumbai.
Before flying back to Mumbai speaking to media, Rani Mukherjee said,” Maa Kamakhya called me and I am delighted that I could make it to visit Kamakhya Temple on my birthday and sought her blessings,”
It may be mentioned here that Rani’s visit to Assam comes days after the release of her film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway.
The film’s storyline is based on Sagarika Chakaraborty’s book The Journey of a Mother.
It draws its inspiration from a real-life account of a mother who struggled with the government to regain custody of her children.
The film is getting positive responses from critics as well as moviegoers.
In 1997, Rani Mukherjee made her debut in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, and in 1998, she shot to stardom with Karan Johar’s directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
She has appeared in numerous popular films such as Black, Hum Tum, and Veer Zaara.
