Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, which is creating mayhem across the globe, the people from Northeast are facing unwanted racial discrimination in various parts of the Country.

Barely a fortnight after two youths from Nagaland were denied entry into a supermarket by the market staff at Mysuru in Karnataka, yet another appalling incident has been reported from Hyderabad, where two youths from Manipur were denied entry into a store.

In a shocking video of the incident which has gone viral in social media, the security guard of the store barred the Manipur youths from entering the supermarket premises, despite repeated plea.

In the video shot by the duo, they are seen questioning the security guard as to why they are not allowed to enter the store. Upon which, the guard asked the duo to display their Identity Cards.

After repeated questioning by the duo, the guard is seen insisting them to speak in the local language and later asks them to stop arguing.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Police has swung into action and taken into custody the store manager and two security guards of the Supermarket. The arrested persons have also been booked under Section 341 and 154-A of the Indian Penal Code.

It may be mentioned that a similar incident was reported from Mysuru in Karnataka recently when two Naga youths were denied entry into a store with the staff question their Indian citizenship.

Not only this, a girl from the region was spat at by a middle aged man in Delhi only recently.
