Aizawl-based People’s Representation for Identity and Status of Mizoram (PRISM), which is also a political party, demanded the resignation of Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla alleging that the CM misused his office by allowing his daughter in law to deal with the proceedings on his behalf.
Talking to media persons Prism president Van Lalruata said since the CM’s daughter in law was not a government official, she had no authority to deal with the affairs of the CM’s office.
The Prism president further said that chief minister Lal Thanhawla should resign on moral grounds for allegedly allowing the misuse of his office.
