President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Professor Avinash Khare as the new Vice Chancellor of Sikkim University for a term of 5 years. Noteworthy mentioning that 64-year old Khare is
President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Professor Avinash Khare as the new Vice Chancellor of Sikkim University for a term of 5 years.
Noteworthy mentioning that 64-year old Khare is an eminent scientist and scholar and is likely to join the University as its Vice Chancellor very soon.
Professor Khare is now associated with the Delhi University’s Department of Physics.
Earlier last month Sikkim University was in the news, as the students of the University launched an indefinite hunger strike, which was later suspended, demanding a permanent campus for the University.
