Popular Bodo actor-director Prajit Narzary arrested on charges of raping a minor

Assam police arrested well-known Bodo artist, actor and comedian Prajit Narzary popularly known as Taklai for allegedly raping a minor.
He was arrested by Kokrajhar Police last evening and a case has been registered under several provisions of Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
He has been accused of raping a minor girl and has been on the run since the last few months. He was produced before the Court in Kokrajhar.
