Poppy cultivation of 15 acres destroyed in Manipur

The Manipur Government’s War on Drugs campaign continues to gain huge public support with people joining in anti-drug activities including poppy destruction drives.

On Saturday, a team led by Kangpokpi district SP Th. Vikramjit along with people of Liangmei and Nepali communities residing in and around Chawangkining area in Kangpokpi district destroyed poppy plants cultivated in around 15 acres in the area along the Koubru hill range.
