Polling officer dies in accident in Meghalaya

In what comes as an extremely unfortunate incident, a polling officer died in an accident while he was on the way to Photamati

As per inputs, it is learnt that the polling party was enroute Raksamgre assembly constituency in West Garo Hills when the vehicle met with the tragic accident. While the injured were initially rushed to the nearest hospital in Tikrikila, they have now been taken to Goalpara for better treatment. However, as per sources, one of the polling officers who received grievous injuries, could not make it and died on the way to Guwahati.
