BJP and its allies have set their eyes on the upcoming Assembly elections in Mizoram.

Although BJP is a new political entity in Mizoram that has a 40 member State Assembly, the party is gearing up along with its allies like the NPP to make a mark.

BJP National General Secretary and Northeast in-charge Ram Madhav has said that his party would fight alone the Mizoram election.

Ram Madhav also accused the ruling Congress Government in Mizoram led by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla of being corrupt and inefficient.

Incidently, Mizoram’s main opposition party, the Mizo National Front, which is also a part of the BJP-led political platform NEDA, has so far maintained that it will have no political alliance with the BJP.
